  Students of SMK Tun Mutahir to use the English Language as a means of communication by the year 2015

PANEL’S MISSION

• To provide a conducive atmosphere in the learning and teaching of the English language

• To conduct a variety of language learning activities to enhance learning

• To promote the correct usage of English a medium of communication among educators and learners without diminishing the importance of the national language

• To provide a self-access learning centre for learners to have the ownership in learning

1.   GENERAL AIMS

1.1  To create an awareness of the importance of the English Language as an International Language of communication and international language of progress

1.2  To enable all students to be proficient in the English Language to compete in the globalized world

1.3  To create a conducive and realistic atmosphere in the use of the English Language in the school

2.   Specific Objectives

2.1  To improve the students’ achievement in the PMR & SPM examinations

2.2  To ensure students to be able to communicate effectively among themselves in English

2.3  To make students aware of the importance of English as a means of access to knowledge, information, technology and enjoyment.
